This position places you in a California school district as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will assess and provide direct therapy to students with a range of communication needs, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication. You will collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families to develop and implement IEP goals, participate in eligibility meetings, and track student progress across the school year. The caseload may be full or partial depending on district need.
The rhythm of this role follows the school calendar, moving through evaluation seasons, IEP cycles, and regular therapy sessions in a supportive, student-centered environment. California licensure and state credentials are required, and experience working within a school-based setting will help you step confidently into the role from the start of the academic year.
