SLP, School, VA, Chesapeake | Contract – Chesapeake, VA

This role places you in a K-12 school setting in Chesapeake, Virginia, where you will carry a caseload of students with a range of communication needs, including articulation, language processing, fluency, and social communication. You will conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized education program goals, and provide direct therapy in both pull-out and push-in formats. Collaboration is a regular part of the work, as you partner with special education teachers, general education staff, occupational therapists, and families to support each student's progress. The pace of the role follows the natural rhythm of the school year, with caseload demands shifting around evaluation seasons, IEP meetings, and transition planning periods. You will bring a current Virginia speech-language pathology license and a commitment to supporting students who communicate and learn differently.
