This position places you in Beckley-area K-12 schools, where you will evaluate students and deliver occupational therapy services that support their ability to participate fully in the classroom and school day. You will work with students across a range of ages and needs, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional writing, and you will collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to carry out individualized education program goals.
The pace of the role follows the natural rhythm of the school year, with evaluation seasons, IEP meetings, and direct service woven through each semester. You will contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team and help students build the independence and confidence they need to access their education. West Virginia licensure in occupational therapy is required.
