This position supports students with disabilities in a K-12 school setting in Huntsville, AL, working directly alongside classroom teachers and special education staff to help students access instruction and participate fully in the school day. You will assist with individualized learning activities, provide behavioral support, and help facilitate transitions, routines, and social interactions in both inclusive and self-contained settings. The work is hands-on and relationship-driven, with each day shaped by the needs of the students in your care.
As a paraeducator, you will collaborate closely with licensed educators, therapists, and families, contributing to each student's progress toward their IEP goals.
